I am merely a lowly sheep
I am not I AM the judge
I am merely a leper at the gate
I am not I AM the perfect sacrifice,
The world's true king
I am simply a servant girl
Whose orders are to sing

How is that even moderately threatening?

Just a rant in poem form written after seeing someone denounce teaching Christian values as child abuse.

I don't think anyone would seriously contend that there is anything wrong with humility and charity and "loving thy neighbor" and such...
BUT... when I see a little girl go home from school in tears upon becoming aware that her best friend is Jewish, because her Christian parents have convinced her that anyone who doesn't accept Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior is destined to literally burn forever in the fires of eternal suffering, and she is absolutely terrified and distraught at the idea of this happening to her dear friend... then I can certainly see how such teachings can be construed as a bit emotionally abusive.
